Affordable Housing in Anchorage
Anchorage is in the midst of a protracted affordable housing crisis. And yet, as of November 14, 2023, more than 90 rental units were on the market. Many of these units had been vacant and renter-ready for more than 100 days.
Connecting Landlords with Tenants
For these reasons, I'm partnering with the Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness to connect landlords with tenants who qualify for public housing assistance. In addition to helping house our fellow community members, the case management services provided by the Coalition make this program a sound business proposition.
